I hope it's done and posted on Saturday. That would be the best birthday present. THE BEST.

Animations are always really nice, I know that Vriska's sudden infatuation with Nick Cage has made me like her even more.

Also, this is just me backpedaling quite a bit, but some time ago Equius was wiping sweat from his face with a Nick Cage poster he'd pulled from offscreen. What the heck?

Have you exhaustively gone through Past Karkat: Wake Up?

Some of the items Karkat and Terezi and Vriska find in those chests are posters of Nick Cage.

She may have gotten over her luck, but she is still a huge slob and leaves her crap everywhere.

I skimmed through most of the items, thinking that some were just more pictures of fairies (?) or Muscled man-beasts. I do kind've remember though.

Vriska must have a spare Alchemizer though, that she's been using to churn out dozens of counterfeit Nick Cage posters, and just leaving all the imperfect spares just lying around.

Yeah, it's a secretly significant revelation of Alterniabound that somewhere on that asteroid is an alchemizer suite.  Here's betting that's going to be important.

She may have gotten over her luck, but she is still a huge slob and leaves her crap everywhere.

Like she's unique.  Everybody's always leaving piles of things everywhere, including Karkat's secret room.  The poor guy has no privacy.  Heck, Terezi's hording like half the group's weaponry.  There's going to be awkward looks all around if they're attacked without notice.

I'm not so sure. Equius would have alchemized a towel if he could have.

AH said that Vriska could've just used a printer.

Nepeta seems to be one of the cleanest of them all from what we can see, if only because she uses the piles of other peoples junk.

Although, given that the only thing left to attack them seems to have destroyed both Prospit and Derse by looking at them funny, I doubt they are going to have time to do much of anything if attacked.

Wait a second.  If Lord English has destroyed Derse, then he is out beyond the Veil.  He may be closing in on the trolls' base of operations.

She doesn't have anything around to slaughter either.  Without tanable corpses handy, she's pretty spartan.

AH said that Vriska could've just used a printer.

Don't make go screw around in that not-game again.  I seriously don't have the time to prove myself right, or the patience to be proven wrong upon discovering the only new objects are posters.

Wait, what about the Nic Cage bust?  You telling me Vriska carved that thing in three hours?

John's pose in the panel seems to be a callback to Vriska's pose in Make Her Pay. Also, Karkat seems to be referring to John's choice of prototyping, presumably made a while earlier. He seems to indicate that it was John who made the choice of what to prototype, rather than Jade. Also, the newest prototyping could have given Jack the power to cause earthquakes?

Remember, John was asleep for "about ten minutes"

Remember how long Jade's timer was for?
