Update.

I wonder if 1025 does have any significance, or if Hussie is just subverting his usual tendencies.

Well, I guess it is the date for Past Karkat: Wake Up. But any other significance... I dunno.

Man they should totally prototype a suit of armour first.

What if somehow Jack himself got prototyped.

What would happen? I mean, that implies the Ring got prototyped along with him.

Universe explodes?

That would... make a great deal of dramatic sense based on what Hussie's set up lately. I hope it doesn't happen :|

Yeah he's pretty much doomed now, and all the irony going on. He'd be all over this irony.

I suspect you've never tried doing many illegal things yet in your game. The second the CCS knows you're "active", they'll come down on you like the hammer of God.

You'd think they'll hurry up and get into the game rather than stand around chatting when a meteor big enough to wipe the entire island off the map is due in ten minutes.

Anyway, I think that Bec or somehow teleports the meteor back in time, because the frog temple in the future is still standing, despite the meteor impacting more or less directly on top of it. It's possible that this is the same meteor we saw during WV: Ascend, which might have been carrying the frog temple.

When PM first starts view Jade here, most likely directly after Jade's arrival in the Medium, we see a large amount of green energy, possibly indicating that Bec follows her into the medium or that his prototyping causes the machine to break down.

Regarding the prototyping itself, the kids pretty much have to do so as stated here (and possibly in Rose's walkthrough, but I'm too lazy to find it). At the last moment, seeing as the kids aren't doing anything to prototype the kernelsprite, Bec just jumps into it himself (like Alternate Future Dave).

Completely unrelated note, but does Gabes face look like something out of SBaHJ in the third panel?

You mean the "kernelsprite is attracted to dead and doomed things" -bit? I don't think it necessarily means that they MUST prototype pre-entry. Why would Bec jump into the kernelsprite?
