Yea, looked like an angry/evil squiddle. First thing I thought when I saw that was Cthulhu and then theres a bunch of elder gods (including some that look like relatives of Cthulhu, the evil god, not the forumgoer).

Lord English has always been associated with green and white.  Why would they portray him as being red for no reason, and associate him with the horrorterrors, who are working against Lord English?

Given how that thing looks like the father of Golbgly'ub and the whole tentacle thing, its a massively warped twisting of 'tanglebuddies'.

As for dave, its possible that it was colored like that for dramatic effect. Its like the effect used on the eyes of the astronaut while he was going through that warp tunnel at the end of Space Oddesy:2001.

I think that was a result of Jade and Feferi sharing the same dream bubble, and Feferi actually enjoyed the whole thing, so maybe she routinely dreams like this?

Theres also the fact that he can see at a far distance. Its not real clear what the size of the bubble is or how far away, but when we go to dave, you can't even see it.
