 And yeah, this sort of fits into my theory that a sort of reason for all this mess was the trolls not learning anything or growing at all during their session. Some of them got over some issues but their main problems are still major problems. The game is meant to help the kids as much as it creates a new world, so perhaps through the kids they grow up a little bit?

I don't know why that makes me laugh.  And it looks to me like Vriska's taking a horn right in her cheekbone.

Anyway, I knew from the start this was going to be about growing up and learning stuff and everything for kids - the classic "holy cow, I'm 13 and the prophesied hero of another world!" direct-to-video story, but given a more "realistic" treatment of the characters and perspective involved.  The Trolls lost, because they're still egotistical nutjobs, although interacting with people besides their own insanities is having an effect.  Maybe, kinda, not really.

I still stand by my prediction that this whole thing is leading up to a lot of bullshit movie references in place of an actual ending or plot.
