The problem with Karkat's sleeping-without-a-dreamself is that Karkat has to deal with Lord English. Jade doesn't.

Yeah, I got the feeling that Karkat didn't want people to sleep so they didn't have to deal with "The Demon"(Which I'm not convinced is Lord English... Is there proof of this? Or strong evidence?), not that sleeping without a dreamself was bad.

EDIT: Looked it up. Yeah, most likely Lord English is the demon. That term is only used ever in reference to him(Oh, and the 4NG3Ls, but yeah). And Prospit's Explosion is all green and stuff like a scratch is.

I can reply to that correctly.  That is some ass-ugly art.  Freaked me out, which is fine, but the more I look at it, the worse it is.  Is it too much to ask to keep Hussie's wonderful little sprites for the normal story?

 A lot of people have said it's some traditional Hussie art, but looking over his older stuff again it isn't terribly close to his old stuff. It's like a mix between his old stuff and his scribble stuff.

The art wasn't so bad. It was very liney and different though.

Anyway, I noticed the lineup of pestering on Rose's compy. Eridan, Aradia, and Nepeta. As we know, two of those three blew up.

I'm continuing to worry about Rose's descent into magical assholery and doom.

But seriously, I like it... aside from being rougher and more liney, there's crosshatching for shading (which is always fun), and Rose looks unmistakably like a kid (which apparently the internet needs a reminder of now and again). Even so, I imagine it's just a temporary "screw you guys" aimed at all the people who are getting pissey at him for practicing fun little exercises in artistic freedom.

About this Eridan and Rose business.

Yeah, he could have done better, but did he really do so bad? Look at Karkat's attempt to start a blackrom with John. That failed horribly.

Eridan just got Rose to blow up his computer. That seems like a pretty good start to me.

I suppose it bears mentioning that if Rose is not interested in blackrom with Eridan, she is sending the absolute wrong signals.

My favorite part of this whole thing is that he has one days update with the earthbound style, and everyone's freaking out that he's going ot always update like that forever.  Its just one day.
