Also, I hope John doesn't end up falling several miles down and end up explodified.

I doubt Nanna would let that happen.

Theory: The unfinished page will be finished when someone probably Dave travels back in time to do the things that the page entails. Or is going to entail. Or-

As is the matter with all time travel, the worst problem is the grammar.

ohgods the crosbytop blinks

Yes. The Crosbytop does blink. This is something we already knew.

The Cosbytop, on the other hand, is new to this whole blinking business.

It bugs me that I can totally see Andrew doing something like this.

It also bugs me that I can see Andrew leaving pages unfinished until it becomes relevant to the story as a habit, and then the whole story starts to look a bit like swiss cheese, with unfinished pages liberally interspersed between finished pages, and nobody can make any sense of the plot because Andrew still hasn't finished that one page a hundred pages ago that would explain everything.

It's like WPS on a meta level.

Well, according to the news:

Update's running a little late. If you want to know EXACTLY when the real page is up, you could always follow me. Should be real soon.

So, doesn't seem like that will be the case.

Yes, let us all hope that "hang on guys, this one update is taking a while, so here's a few that I intended to be read after it to tide you over!" doesn't become a repeat occurrence.  This isn't maximum trolling, this is just plain incompetence.

He's probably waiting on art from a contributor who's taking a while.  Which is another good reason to always have a handle on your own projects and, y'know, work ahead instead of on the spot.

I can still access the pages, but they're no longer on the latest pages list. There is no link on the "Be Past Karkat" page, either.

Here maybe this will help sate your hunger for... something.

Oh also between now and Halloween Topatoco is marking down all their "Last Chance" shirts. Any shirt you see there labeled as such, it is your last chance EVER to buy that design!!! What a spooky thought. It is the perfect Halloween promotion.

Holy crap Andrew removed the updates.

And that my friends, is what happens when an entertainer bites off more than he can chew.  Forum shitstorm I take it?

It's weird being able to look at a page (John getting pied out of his shoes) that technically doesn't exist at the moment.

...and, y'know, work ahead instead of on the spot.

Are you saying that Andrew should hold on to his stupid update pages for a while before posting them? There's a cliffhanger going on, and he's already resolved it, and maybe dropping coy hints on Twitter, but the update won't be up for days? Please. No. It's bad enough as it is.

It would be cool if he somehow designed the website so that when all this is done reaching a specific page would store a cookie on your machine so the past comics are updated for you. Sure it would require reading back and trawling through the archive again, but it would be an interesting gimmick considering the time travel shenanigans this comic always does.

It's too late Cthulhu, this comic has reached the point of never stopping.
