So, do you guys think trolls actually find cleaning products (and presumably the act of "normal" household cleaning) indecent, or is Vriska dancing around what the pails are actually for (and presumably the act of ahem "cleaning" something else)?

Most likely trying to dance around what they are actually for, that and possibly going eew at what they are actually used for as far as humans go.

One would think that would have been pretty obvious, assuming one read the Troll Romance exposition and paid some cursory attention to Vriska's choice of words here. :|

Of course, the idea that trolls would have some kind of cleaning taboo is too hilarious to ignore. Consider the implications of this panel, for instance. Or the fact that Tavros has had trouble keeping his floor free of clutter since he was paralyzed.
