I wonder if Hussie ever planned for Vriska to actually talk to the kids, when Terezi said she (at least, probably Vriska) had some "misgivings" about the whole thing.  Neither the circumstance or the timeframe is correct on that.  Maybe Hussie decided to have Vriska talk more after everyone (but Duke) fell head over heels in hate-love with her.

I think that was Aradia (bluh bluh, huge lich). Dave pointed out that the nonlinear trolling was a mess and asked who the troll timeline manager was, and Terezi said that she had misgivings about the whole thing, and not everyone was very enthusiastic about this whole trolling deal.

Terezi killed a guy too, you know.  And a girl.  They were minor characters from earlier acts, you know, the ones wearing dorky glasses who are getting cameos now.

In an alternate timeline which branched off, but closed loop time paradoxes took over to repair it. In the main timeline, she didn't actually end up getting them killed.

I bet losing the ring was one way they broke the game, however, the white queen got the ring some 400 years in the future, so maybe its suppoused to happen this way. You can never really tell with those time paradoxes sometimes.

It is known that all the guardians are off the walls awesome.

Also notice how Bro is the only person to face off with Jack and handle him decently. Sure there was the bunny, but that is more of a weapon in how it's used than a being. So one could say he broke the record.

What is it about the guardians that makes them awesome? Is it just being an adult automatically makes you well-equipped to handle a game designed to give a group of thirteen-year-olds a challenge or is it being a paradox clone created by ectobiology gives them awesomeness above and beyond a normal human?

Actually, Johns dad isn't a paradox clone, at least I don't think he is.

Remember the ectobiology sequence? Four of the paradox clones are the infants of 3 out of the four guardians. Two of them were sent back into the past around 1922 or so, these were the young Jades grandfather and young Nanna (I think), so Dad is Nannas son.

We didn't get to see Roses Mom and Bro as infants get sent into the past though.

Dad is the child of a paradox clone, though. So there's still some ectobiology in him, and maybe that counts for something.

Clarifying note: We have seen Rose's dreamself vanish in just this manner when she woke up, so John's dreamself vanishing wasn't something special Vriska did.  She just woke him up.

I have absolutely no idea where his dreamself is going to be when he falls asleep again, however.

And besides, you know what Terezi didn't do that Vriska did? Oh, only genocide and torture. Terezi isn't really evil in my opinion, and really isn't evil when put next to Vriska.

Genocide? When did Vriska do that?
