I predict tragedy. Specifically, malfunctioning immune system style, the bunny will see Dad and Mom as threats to John and murder them.

I don't know about successful murder, but it'll probably aggressively keep them apart. It didn't attack Jack, it just stood in his way.

We don't know much about the bunny's mind, actually. It's got the final weapons for all the kids, but who knows what it's programmed to do, or if it's got its own motives.

True. Probably the bunny has to be commanded to attack. Either that or it reacted to BQ's threatening Jack automatically, and mere presence is not cause for violence.

Of course, I can just see Dad throwing a pie at John, and the bunny construing it as an assault.

It bumped (bunped?) into John's leg.  It apparently isn't very smart, and also flinches.  Intriguing.  And yeah, it just happens to have two different colored eyes.

Also, John's going to wake up right as Dad meets him.  He's probably going to look up at the cloud with Jade falling, realize that he has to choose between reuniting with Dad in dream-form, or go save his friend/half-sister.  And then John was the Hero.  Or Vriska will find a way to fuck something up for him, and he'll wake up to something else altogether.
