It lists John and Dave being switched. As in, they don't have the right guardians.

But lul at the screenwriters being Michael Bay and M. Night Shyamalan. I guess that explains the weird plot and mixed up guardians.

Also, on a tangent, Avatar would've been much better if it was directed by Michael Bay.
