No because I only started reading MSPA during the troll arc. Forget when exactly I started, but it was before Andrew did the whole troll relationship stuff.

I have no idea where people got this idea of Diamonds Droog acting like a father figure to Kanaya from. But they might be on to something depending on how loosely you interpret the events surrounding the latest flash update and subsequent pages. The thought did occur to me that DD told Aradia to make Vriska pay as punishment for breaking Kanaya's heart, but it could just as easily be explained that DD like seeing people take revenge on each other.

All baseless speculation, of course.

 I'm not going to debate how valid this relationship is, I just know it's an amusing thing to see. As far as the various fan fantasies are this is one of the more bearable ones.
