As for the flash not bringing closure to the troll arc, yeah, you're right. It didn't. And that's a bit disappointing, although not really surprising in hindsight. It's been said before that the troll arc wasn't about trolls playing their game, but the trolls themselves. We already know how their session ended, more or less, so that doesn't matter. They all end up doomed on a meteor in the Veil and all their dream selves are dead. The whole purpose of this thing was to characterize the trolls, which has certainly been successful. For the most part, anyway. Feferi's still a bit bland, in my opinion. The flash page was just there to provide a climax before we get a scribblemode page saying that they waste more than six hundred hours on this foolishness and return to whatever the kids were doing. And the finer details of the trolls' session will continue to unfold with the pesterlogs. And memos. I seriously hope we get a lot more memos. They're awesome.
Yeah, I was hoping for a flash page of them killing the black king or the universe ending or something like that. And still am. But this is a pretty okay alternative.

Yeah, she does. I think Vriska spend quite a while lying unconscious on her floor, but it can't have been too long. She's still bleeding when she gets up, meaning that she's probably been bleeding the whole time. Terezi's first though after thinking she'd killed her is "A job well done! Time to go to bed". And Vriska's first thought after waking up in a puddle of her own blood with more still dripping from the stump of her arm is "Make her pay". Trolls sure are weird.
