I imagine the off-planet troll population as a weird amalgamation of several SciFi settings. Too bad we'll never get to see it. Where do you think the trolls would have ended up if Sgrub hadnd't happened? Gamzee would probably become the captain of an exploration vessel on no merit but his high-class blood. Terezi would fight crime, both in the courtroom and as a costumed vigilante. Tavros would join the distinguished ranks of the Cavalreapers, and he'd have a purple dinosaur and he'd ride it around and impale Federation Space Marines with an energy lance. He would break through the line and strike a decisive blow to Ender's forces. And he'd find and breed all the Fiduspawn. All of them. Even the ones you can only get from promotional events, and the ones caused by glitches in space-time.
