I think its confirmed that either her Lusus IS GL'BGOLYB , is Cthulhu (the horrorterrors are probably the Alternian version of Elder Gods), or at least a messenger of either one.

By races extinction, I wonder if that meant the aquatic race because that page later says unite the two races, that is, the landdwellers and the aquatics. Sort of like a prophecy saying if you don't do this, your race will die.

I guess the whole hemospectrum class stuff will be upended sometime in the future for Alternia.

That is a possibility, but since they are in parallel universes and possibly different centuries.

The profile for Eridan also mentions that he wants to exterminate the land dwellers (for a pretty cliche reason, plus he's a royal jerk), so Eridan and Feferi are like opposites, possibly in the literal sense.
