You didn't know curmudgeon?

Man, anyone else notice that, once you learn a word, you can't comprehend how other people don't know it? Actually, Andrew appears to have this problem too:

Couldn't she push the gaint skull off and not set of the doomsday device?

Why would anybody make a doomsday device, then keep it in reserve?

You're not thinking like a global superpower. Or a supervillain.

There are plenty of reasons to hold weapons of unimaginable power, but never use them.

Unless we're talking about doomsday devices devised by Andrew Hussie, in which case, I have no idea what the hell it's supposed to do.

That doomsday device is there because a Skaian temporal portal placed it there in order to trigger the end of the world, to fulfill some predestined Skaian time plot. Duh. Eschatological game analysis becomes pretty easy when you realize that every question has the same answer.

Who's the robot-building really creepy troll? My astrological knowledge fails me.

And speaking of the robot-building really creepy troll, WHAT!? GrimAuxiliatrix sawed aT's legs off while he was asleep!? And I though she was the cool, rational one. ._.

And someone dig up those pictures of her from the fan art thread, looking all pixellated and wielding a chainsaw and jittering.

I assume his legs had to be removed to attach mechanical legs. So it's not merely a chick cutting off some legs for the sake of cutting off some legs. Although while he sleeps is a little surprising, this does not strike me as terribly odd in Troll culture.

Yeah, probably so he can speed through the entire Troll arc (which is presumably going to get to the point of where they are in the Veil labs now) without taking a year. It's also kind of interesting storytelling to tell the audience what will happen and then show it and still generate emotion. I'll be happy when he gets back to the as-it-happens style, though.
