I myself had to go for Dave, because despite how much I like John, I just find Dave more interesting a dude.

Just yesterday finished my archive binge, voted Rose with Dave as a close second. Couldn't say what exactly put her ahead, between the elder beasts and the sesquipedalism and the knitting needles and the unrepentant spite. Dave is pretty awesome too though, can't say I'm surprised at all with the current results of the poll.
