The periodic plot roundups are handy, if dense.

I think it's a vastly amusing thought that elephants are so afraid of heights that when Dwarves invented the Z-axis, they couldn't bear to face dwarves in combat anymore.

I read through a quarter before going "Ohmygod ginormous wall of text" and went to do something else.

Gies; remember how Spades Slick saw the Troll in the little Sburb screen thing?
Spades Slick is the Troll's universe version of Jack Noir!
Ergo, Sn0wman would be the Troll's universe version of the Black Queen, since we can be fairly sure that Windswept Questant is the White Queen in the kid's universe.
It all makes sense now; the Intermission took place in the aftermath of the Troll's universe; remember how the inhabitants of the various planets end up on 'earth' after the armageddon? Yeah.
That's what I had just said.  Look, here:
Anyway, the Black Queen is not Sn0wman.  When Sn0wman dies the world ends.  End of story (literally).  As far as I can tell, SS and Sn0wman are the trolls' world's variation of Jack Noir and The Black Queen.
Aye?  also you don't need such huge gaps between such short lines

So, that ring from the animation. Obviously it gives the wearer sprite prototyping benefits... which includes:

-Harlequins
-Nanna
-Princesses
-Eldritch Horrors
-Seppucrow
-So where does dave-ism come into play?

It's only the prototypings that happened before the sprite entered the medium. Nanna and Dave were prototyped afterward.

^This^

When the KERNELSPRITE enters the medium, the KERNEL portions of the sprite split off into LIGHT and DARK KERNELS, which take the prototyping information to the respective kingdom, leaving the SPRITE behind.

That's what I was thinking. Of course... Cal did get sent off, THEN they went back in time, and now Dave and Dave Sprite have technically yet to be kernalized, I think.

See Here.

So it sent its kernels without being fully prototyped? And John's did the same?

Lame. Bad guys need more wise old ladies with ironic sunglasses.

It was like the first thing to happen when John entered the medium.  And the sprite was still a harlequin when it hatched.

I was losing track of what was going on, and the text wall really helped me out.
I think future Jade will end up is chumming past dream Jade.
Which means that past Jade will lose her cool knowing powers some day.

But didn't future Jade die? Future Dave said she never got into the medium because of John's suicidal attack on the denizen.
