I'm thinking Snowman is not exactly like the rest of The Felt, possibly she's a Midnight Crew defector or something, Spades certainly seems to have some sort of hostile fixation towards her.

Well she definitely looks like them.
Also, we know why they can't kill her, the universe will be destroyed.

Oooh, I like her. ;D

Judging by the Pool analogy that's been going on, I suspect Snowman is untouchable because the rest of the Felt are still alive. Much like in pool, if you sink the 8 ball before you've taken care of all the other ones, you lose. Wild guess says it's tied to all the crazy space-time stuff going on, and how Lord English's suit connects it... maybe that green glow she had signifies that she's still protected... but who knows.

I am also excited to see if and how he ties this in to the rest of the story.

I suspect that, as Andrew apparently says, it isn't related to the main story.  However, I do think that the characters in the intermission will have counterparts in the main story.

I don't think Jack can be Slick, because Slick now has one eye, for example.

For now.

Remember, we're dealing with major time-travel fuckery here. He might regain it later.

Or Jack could lose his.  That's always an option.

Look at the pages with Jack Noir. The Monarch has a scar over his eye. I'm fairly certain that wasn't there the first time.

Are you sure it's a retcon?  I don't remember it too well, but it doesn't look different, in the sense that I don't get a different impression from the image - such as one might get while looking at an obviously flawed area in a drawing.

As dastardly as Andrew is, I bet he's above retconning like that.

Anyway, it doesn't mean he had the intermission (or at least that much) planned ahead of time. He and I are both very familiar with putting Checkov's guns all over the wall and figuring out what they're for later. :)

Unless, of course, one of the Felt's powers involves retconning.  I wouldn't rule that out, somehow :P.
