Rose: How did you know what to do?
Jade: I just checked the guide on IGN.

 ...

Rose: There was already a guide and I was writing one for Gamefaq?

Another character enters the fray, with the most potent weapon yet.

A gun.

A bigger gun than Jade's.

I'm guessing that's Dave's future thing.

We still haven't determined who is allocated to the POST-APOCALYPTIC WASTELAND WANDERER ACCORDION FOLDER of Peregrine mendicant, so AIMLESS RENEGADE could be anyone's wanderer thing. EDIT: except for John's of course.

I'm kind of wondering if the "Aimless" is going to turn into some horrible pun, what with the ginormous gun and all.  I hope not--that would be pretty low, even for MSPA.

The whole 'future personas' aspect of the future guys is one theory I do not support. When were any of them mailmen?

All the kids are mentally ill in some way dog.

John - Voices in his head.
Jade - Voices in her head.
Dave - Let's Bro beat on him and likes it.  (sorta)
Rose - Shy and intellectual.
:-[ What the hell, Toony?

Aimless Renegade should be on the WV's side-he's black, after all. ("Delicious pawn" made me laugh.)
Could be a bishop too.  Bishops often have crosses.
John is a king.moving his house counts as castling. Also, everybody has either helped him or will help him. Dave will come.

Rose is a bishop. She's blocked monsters from reaching egg bert and opened diagonal paths.
but she never attacks straight forward.

Dave is a knight. No explaining necessary. Also, he can jump very high.

Jade Harley is a queen. Center of power, the other pieces move around her, at her bidding.

Most pieces are wiped out in the time/apocalypse skipped over by the ascension movie.

Waygrant Vagabond =king mayor
Peregrine Mendicant =bishop

The vagabond performs castle! he moves to safe position, and his castle comes with!
He passed over the peregrine mendicant, his bishop. He even has delusions of grandeur in the chess match which makes his mayor status deeply confusing with this "chess" analogy.

additionally Rose took her cube from a bishop square.

So, um, who wants to bet that Toady programmed Sburb?

Mind you, the catastrophic meltdown of the kid's computers is slightly more effective than in DF.

The chess analogy thing is good, I just don't see how the kids become the future guys. I'm thinking that John's dad etc. are the future guys.
