If there's any crowd that understands freaking out others with ironic things, it's the Homstuck fanbase. Unless Bro really is just a puppet freak, and then the Homestuck fanbase is also a bunch of freaks be extention.

I really can't tell if Bro's seriously into puppet snuff or not, he simply doesn't have enough characterization. none of the guardians do. Maybe they'll get some later, or maybe not, but I'm pretty sure that Bro CAN be both a puppet fetishist AND totally awesome. It would be just Andrew's style too. Gamzee's clowns, Equius' HIGH ART and Nepeta's shipping are all acknowledged as kind of weird, but that doesn't mean we're not supposed to like Gamzee, Equius and Nepeta. Like Andrew posted on his latest doorstopper of a formspring answer:
