John: Earth: hammer. Earnest and quite established in his behaviors.
Jade: <3 Air: rifle. flighty, unpredictable, but nonviolent. Air is less predictable than fire or water. (OKay, she could be heart.  ;) )
Auto-pastry! Blotto-parry! Auto-perrier!
Dave: Fire
Rose: Water : Auto-perrier!
I so want to swap those, but Rose's flowing style (primarily in 1upping mom) indicates water, and Dave, if he sees ONE MORE...
...Aqizzar's point leads to making me want to swap those two as well.

That doesn't go with what ANDREW SAID though.

ANDREW IS CANON.

Wait wait...I get it now.

They're the OPPOSITE of what it says.

So,

John - Earth
Rose - Fire
Dave - Water
Jade - Air

Or... They're all stuck with elements they specifically don't like.  It would be one more excellent inconvenience.

Dude, I just said that a couple minutes ago.

Well, uh, just 'cause they don't like their element doesn't mean they don't have 'em.

Interesting note: possible Rygar (the old one, not the new) reference in Round 2. (ASSAIL+ASSAULT)
Toony that is not an improvement on original Dave's Brother (whom I believe to be jeff)

Argued about the other likely prototypings yet? ... :o Jade's is totally going to be Grandfather+one of his Hunting Trophies = ANTHROPOMORPHICALLY PERSUADED GRANDFATHER. To her delight.
Dave...not sure yet. Dummy + Sword?
Rose is getting wizard+household cleaning, by educated guess.

Well, yes, but remember that you get two prototypes. . .

Crow will be great because it'll be pointing out Dave's not cool...ironically! "Let no one speak of this again."

Imagine you're speaking to GardenGnostic.

I like the worms for two reasons:

1.  They're lovably stupid.
2.  OM NOM NOM

OR, that's her granddad's granddad.  Or a likeness of prime granddad, and Jade is just kind of crazy.

Considering that I actually written a Gamefaqs walkthrough using an alternate ID, I have to ask two questions...

1) How come that Cthulhu Fthulu fangirl managed to get strikethroughs within her FAQ? FAQs are supposed to be plaintext, and only plaintext, otherwise they'll get rejected.

2) Who's running the GameFAQs website? You need to have someone approve your FAQ before it is placed on the website.

Plot convenience? Skaia networks? Who knows or cares?

Anyway, it occurs to me that PM could just as easily stand for Post Man.
