I've just noticed that the last potato has ended on page #9999 (which isn't the 9999th page, but still).

This means that the next update will begin with page #10000!

Wait no, disregard that, I suck icicles.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

I guess the mayor won't be putting on a ring after all. Probably for the best, I think he's suffered way more than enough already.

Also, I understand why we aren't, just a (very) tiny bit disappointing that there aren't any human kids in the ghost army. Related, I don't remember seeing any Araneas at all after Game Over. Surely there were more than just the one who got melted?

Hmmm, I don't remember Mayor having a barcode... nah, this can't possibly be relevant at this point of story.

Also, the horses are back in multicolour.

the mayor always had a barcode, it was relevant in like act 4 or something, also during intermission 1 where spades used his to open the exile station... now that i think of it, that might be what they're for

Memory's hazy, but I'm 70% sure Spades had to flip his sprite to get his barcode arm back after it got cut off, so he could open LE's vault, which was an exile station.

Why was LE's vault an exile station, anyway?

EDIT: Went back to the spoiler station Masterpiece, and now, this (especially the bolded part) seems to be extremely relevant to the current situation (i.e. LE is being suddenly surrounded by multicoloured horses):
Quote
"THAT IS WHEN THE HORSES COME IN TO PLAY. THE GOD DAMN HORSES. HOW TRULY AND UTTERLY IRONIC. THAT MY VERY DEMISE COULD BE IN THE PROXIMITY OF SOME HORSES. WHAT. NO REALLY, WHAT. I DIDN'T FOLLOW THAT. I'M STILL NOT FOLLOWING IT, TO BE HONEST. I'LL HAVE TO THINK IT OVER. I'M THINKING IT OVER *RIGHT NOW*. AND I HAVE A FEELING. I'LL BE THINKING IT OVER FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE. PERHAPS WE ALL WILL. "

and on the next page,

Quote
"I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON. SO I'M REALLY DISTRACTED. I'M SAYING TO MYSELF, THIS IS OMINOUS AS SHIT. NOTHING GOOD CAN EITHER FOLLOW OR PRECEDE AN EVENT SUCH AS THIS. AND THEN, THAT'S WHEN IT HAPPENS."

I just realized, why didn't Hussie call fraymotifs as fightmotifs? The pronunciation would make more sense.

he probably thought it was pronounced "lay-motif", like a lot of people do

also like how a lot of people think "reagent" is pronounced like "regent"
