Why is nobody talking about the smuppet bots? I'm genuinely interested about where that is going, which is really stupid of me.

So I guess that happened.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

It's going to be hard for whatever comes after the pause to top this.

Which means, of course, it will.

Dunno. The attempted RP of the audience kills it for me. So not very hard.

This is some sort of inherently unsolvable portal into the plane of bullshittery.

I'm... still conflicted between how shitty it is and how sad I am that all that selfie shit is going to be a thing, and how shitty THAT thing is.

But... at least it's not trickster mode again? This is slightly better than that.

And then, they will be weaponized. Like everything in this game, from kittens to babies, everything is a potential device of murder.
So if baseless speculation is all we have, we might as well treat it like fact.

The colours emitted by this "reunion" are red and green - the same as the trickster-mode lollipops.

I hope this doesn't mean that they both go trickster mode on the next page.
