I was going to remark a few days ago about how being a Tauros makes wish to disown Tavros. Now I am eating those words, since Tavros is now doing something interesting. Go Tavros, go!

Try reading the comic as an Aquarius....

Capricorn life is the good life. I still think Gamzee isn't worse than Vriska. At least he isn't in danger of collapsing into a black hole.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Eridan was a misunderstood k i cant

As a Sagittarius I cringe every time I think of my requisite troll. Unfortunately he's also actually very evocative of me.

You're all forgetting Cronus, who hit on a brain damaged guy.

Really, I think an Aquarian ran over Hussie's dog or something.

At least Eridan had a pretty cool walkaround theme in the flash game. Yay?

I like Equius, and not just as a joke.
I was only half joking about Eridan though...  He screwed up a lot, but he was a good person who cared strongly about his friends.  It's kinda ridiculous that he has this reputation as a murderer.

I kinda went into detail about it a while back...  But in a nutshell, he wasn't even trying to fight Sollux.  He was ignoring Sollux and suggesting a plan to Feferi when Sollux tried to murder him (Sollux says ii 2hould have killed you on lobaf when ii had the chance.).  Eridan subdues Sollux, then just stands there until Feferi attacks him for no valid reason.  Kanaya threatens him, he threatens her back by blowing up the symbol of false hope she's holding on to, she tries to kill him.  Eventually succeeds.

The only even questionable action he took was destroying the matriorb.  He entered that room to suggest a constructive plan, and everybody tried to kill him.

I was half joking myself. I feel where Eridan fails significantly is in his communicative skills, which exacerbate shortcomings he could otherwise have overcome. You see it in his past-future talks with Karkat during the rampage especially, while he may actually be trying to do his friends a solid he doesn't consider the actual consequences of his words and actions and how they could possibly be off-putting. I dunno, it's been a long time since I've really examined any of the non end-game cast at length, maybe I've forgotten something.

Personally I always figured there was more Dualscar stuff packed up with Ahab's Crosshairs and Eridan was falling into the same trap Vriska did, trying too hard to live up to his ancestor's standards without the lifetime of experience to back up the attempt. It's hard to really tell much else when the only things that get mentioned are how badly he played the game, destroyed matriorb, got sawn in half. Also managed to kill Feferi again as half of Erisol.

I'd really like some kind of resolution like everyone else seems to be getting, but with Hussie himself calling Cronus scum and no extra lives left...

FAKEEDIT: You're all ninjas.
