Aquarius only exists to be shit on in this comic.
Ugh, pretty much.  Though, there is the thing where he's an experienced angel-slayer.  If those had any relation to cherubs.  He also had hope powers, which we know have hidden potential.

And he maaay be destined to fight LE?  Can't quite remember, but I think Cronus had that destiny and somehow foisted it on his dancestor through apathy.  I really don't remember clearly though.

I guess I'm implying that the yellow guy who hope-blasts Caliborn in the claymation could be Eridan.  Even though that's impossible for a lot of reasons.  Like Caliborn going on about stealing his name, IE "English".  Or the fact that he'd be a sprite.  And maybe it was indicated that they were all humans not trolls.

This is pretty much how this updoot always had to go, let's be real.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

At this point I fully expect the rest of the comic to be several dozen panels of characters doing fuckall, with an "it was all just a dream" ending.

"Talking about inconsequential stuff" describes vast swaths of the comic.

I think it's to establish existential malaise, so that Meenah decides to fight. This could fill at least 30 more pages of bullshit with punk!Vriska, thus continuing to avoid any kind of resolution to any plotline.

So, i'm guessing Muses are the most passive and constructive class in Sburb. Roxy's been telling Calliope that her messages were helpful, and I suspect this is true - after all, Muses inspire.

So she's probably been being 'significant' this entire time, and simply hasn't realized since her class is likely all about getting others to do great things. I suspect Roxy is doing it exactly right by getting Calliope to hang out with her while she tries advanced ideation.

Mousing over the character non-select map brings up images of the selected group. If anyone missed those, go check em out.

I don't know if anyone really cares about the guy, and I only know him cause I watch the nostalgia critic and angry joe occasionally, but Linkara from Atop The Fourth Wall is gonna put up a Homestuck review tomorrow.

Unfortunately cause It's so long, he's only going to do act one, and since he doesn't review comics in web format (This was a paetron request) I cast doubt over we'd see anything further unless someone shelled out another request.

I only say so because finding out what online people/show hosts I watch or are vaguely aware of discover homestuck is rather interesting for me.

That does sound interesting. I don't care much about Linkara: Superhero comics are about as relevant to my interests as pro wrestling, with the  exceptions being the stuff by Moore or Mignola. And narrating the story of something in a funny voice does not a meaningful review make. Even if you use high-quality scans and impart some background knowledge.

But he does have a pleasant voice and affectation, and it is fun to watch people wrestle with things we long have trod into the dust.
I remember being mildly annoyed at the tomfoolery of feckless experiments taking up so much time... until I realised just how gigantic this comic was.

It also irks me a little bit, calling something that tells its story mostly in dramatic (in the literary sense of the word) dialogues, text-adventure style narrations and animations a comic, but I guess there is no better word. "Game", maybe, for the early, audience-driven acts, but that just dodges the issue.
