Much of Oregon would say the same thing when someone says "California".

Herding Cats was one of the best (And longest) ones out there last I checked.

Too bad this one was never finished.  There were 33 chapters planned, but only 31 (and an unfinished 32) was ever released.

Yeah, I was watching that one with interest while it was being written. CG just got tired of Homestuck, and increasingly didn't actually like the way he'd written chunks of the story. It was sad but not unexpected.

Since Fanfiction is the current discussion, anyone know of any good ones that change who the survivors were of Gamzee's Rampage?

I don't think so, honestly. I do remember this one fanfic that made the massacre happen post-scratch (which was before the cascade upd8 so everyone still worked off fanon), but instead of the massacre being gamzee, it was trickster versions of the kids

Holy shit memories. The premise was really cool, too: the kids and the trolls realize that they're going to starve out on the meteor without any sources of grist to alchemize food, until Dave realizes that by exploiting a loophole in the game he can turn artifact grist into other types of grist. Everything goes swimmingly until Dave makes a mirror that gives him some ridiculous amount of artifact grist (somewhere in the trillions), so he alchemizes it. Upon further investigation, John finds out that the reflections aren't quite right...

Hilarity and murder ensue, good times were had by all.

On that note, moving away from the fanfiction topic, I think most of us can agree that Trickster Mode is coming back. I don't know the exact name of the thing Hussie did, but that's essentially the set up for an all-hell-breaks-loose trickster mode.

Of course we have no idea it will happen, but we do know this: Trickster mode reveals a person's true opinions and feelings.

So basically the most interesting people to see go trickster will be the most angsty/conflicted.

So basically, Jade, Dave, Karkat, Terezi, and maybe Gamzee (Oh god)?

It could also lead to Jade and Jane being freed.

Also, could )(IC go trickster?

Why do we push forward, knowing this fate, that we are destined for failure? Because, this game grasps the concept of mortality. Some games you can never lose, but we all stop eventually, causing a 'death' to those game's 'worlds'. Dwarf Fortress gives us a definite end, knowing that we will leave that world eventually, and move on to more.

I recall one theory that trickster mode amplifies God Tier powers.  I think the evidence used was Jane causing life to show up on her dead planet after she went Trickster.

Edit: Found it.

Couple interesting End-Game theories on that tumblr as well:
Tavros Nitram Inversion
Troll's go God Tier
Green Sun's Destruction
End-Game: Knight to D6
Final Bosses

I'm almost certain I know how homestuck's going to end in a broad sense, with the creation of SBURB as a game and paradox space itself.

It just fits so deliciously into the stable time loop: the game is in beta, so the kids are just beta testing until they can complete the loop and send out the game 4realz

Presumably the release game won't have the annoying "Lord English" bug...

It's been 11 months.

One more month?

Maybe?

Hoped dates are:
10/16: One Year
10/25: Cascade and other related numerical significance.
11/11: Begin Act 6 date.

MSPAProphet made an estimate between November this year, and May next year.  I'd put it around January.
