So why was Karkat getting all fuzzy before, but now Dave can communicate to others and hear them fine? I was under the impression that Karkat's blurred text was due to it being muffled, and he shouts all the time. So how could Rose in her normal voice be capable of penetrating that barrier of perfect pastel posterior?
Never before have I been so interested in the acoustics of foam puppet ass.

It might have something to do with the fact that Karkat was trying to contact Dave while there was a FUCKHUGE output of energy going on overhead? Interference and all that? :V

Maybe the smuppet phone has a sort of half-block list, and it just muffled Karkat because he shouts all the time?

Yeah, I'm guessing that the Karkatversation didn't go through on account of all the noise and energy being put out by Jake. Also, the Vriska conclusion is probably because Vriska did not Lucky Break the clock into failure to choose an option when she died. But that might be a specifically Sylph-related power, on account of its relation to healing. So it can remain ambiguous.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Question: I just re-watched Cascade. What happened to that book the King had? I want to know because I suspect that if it hasn't been relevant yet, it eventually will be.

It was destroyed with the rest of universe B1.

Oh. Right.

[Edit]Also, I predict that Jade is somehow going to be revived. Possibly with the ring, for added irony.

Also, does anybody else agree the death would've been sadder if not for the Wizard of Oz joke?

At this point? Not really?
I saw Mom and Dad get murdered only to laugh later at the souvenir joke, I'm beyond caring when anybody dies.

Them: DID JOHN DIE
Me: no
Them: good.

Sums it up. No one is truly dead while a history-changing time-traveler is out there.

Am I the only one who is wondering where the clock is physically located now?
EDIT: oh wait, it's probably in the Green Sun along with Doc Scratch's apartment.

Gamzee is going to do his whole 'swap objects really fast' thing.  Stick Arenea right in front of Jane, so she gets the rez.

Every dwarf, every dwarven man, women, and child, that comes to our forts will die there; it's truly sad when you think about it. And we ask our selves, why? Why do we push forward, knowing this fate, that we are destined for failure? Because, this game grasps the concept of mortality. Some games you can never lose, but we all stop eventually, causing a 'death' to those game's 'worlds'. Dwarf Fortress gives us a definite end, knowing that we will leave that world eventually, and move on to more.

It's not just or heroic, luck will suffice. I'm not sure if you noticed but even with Vriska on the meteor with only a few weeks of practice, light was still terribly overpowered.
