UPDATE

That's twice in a row I've done this!

EDIT: Aw, it was indeed a joke.

EDIT: On a unrelated note, I noticed, as of today, I have been on Bay 12 for 1 year.

Every dwarf, every dwarven man, women, and child, that comes to our forts will die there; it's truly sad when you think about it. And we ask our selves, why? Why do we push forward, knowing this fate, that we are destined for failure? Because, this game grasps the concept of mortality. Some games you can never lose, but we all stop eventually, causing a 'death' to those game's 'worlds'. Dwarf Fortress gives us a definite end, knowing that we will leave that world eventually, and move on to more.

Also, he's getting lazy.
Getting?

EDIT: Actually I wouldn't exactly classify anything that's happened lately as lazy, but eh. I also don't see this as being new. Homestuck's always had massive offscreen stuff that sounds like it would've been great to see.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Goddamnit.
I was so happy when all those people appeared randomly, and then you skip over all of it!
Seriously, that sucks.

We could always have some sort of flashback, since flashbacks happen all the time in Homestuck.

It's very, very intentional. That stuff never happened except to John, due to the effects of the weapon. If it's somehow made to happen again, it'll probably show up somewhere near the start of Act 6 Act 6.

It's really kind of obvious that they intend to unmake Lord English, not kill him.
Then again, it's Hussie. Who the fuck knows.

Also is anyone else terribly disoriented by the shit ton of arrows? It's incredibly hard to know where to pick up when you're constantly switching devices.

Commands are only used at key plot points and for jokes since... at least Act 5.2 I guess. Maybe a sign for how much dynamic on their own the characters have by now. Maybe a result of a slight shift in the narrative paradigm, further away still from the fake-suggestion game.

Huh. I only just now noticed the honk in the last comic from the most recent update. I was wondering what the GRRRRRR was about - took me a second reread today to notice it.
