Welp

It's been a long time since I read this, simply because I never had time to read it- I knew one meant "at least three hours of reading". They were that good.

I got up to where Gamzee goes on a murderous rampage, quit, came back, read for a long time, and then sort of lost my place and read things and a good part of the middle is all but gone for me.

I have no clue where I was, but I know the new group (the clones? Maybe? The children that John saved, possibly? ProbAUGH MY HEAD.) is too far in, and there's enough new things burying wherever I was to make it very, very difficult to find.
Just start over from the beginning, would be my advise.
It only takes about a month of nothing but reading to finish.
I'd say it takes between 80 and 100 hours to get through. Factoring in time to sleep and eat, that means you can finish in less than ten days.
I did a reread in eight, but that was several months ago when the comic was slightly shorter.
I finished everything up to act 6 in the span of 3-5 days while also having school. I got a bit bored with the new kids so it was like a week of not reading before I picked it up again. Then I finished that in like two days to three. And of course, been catching up generally on the same day the update comes out.

I don't think you understood the ectobiology very well, since I have no idea what you're talking about when you say "the children that John saved"

My crackpot, i have no idea what I'm talking about please ignore me theory was that the kids with very similar names that weren't actually the first characters may have been the other kids.

I'm going to have to do a re-read. I may acutally be able to start just after the Gamzee freakout, but may as well just start over.

"The other kids"???

Where do you get these? O_o

Probably a bargain-bin orphanage. No paperwork, all very discreet. Nobody asks where they go. Nobody asks where the time-demon servants come from either.

Actually, you appear to have prognosticative powers, because an updoot just arrived.

-snip-
I was able to read up until the troll intermission. I took a break then, and started back a while later after skipping a good part of that intermission. Kept the reading train up until I caught up around the start of act 5.

I've kept current ever since, and i've yet to do a re-read.
