Dammit Hussie.  You can't spring shit like that on a cold start.  Well at least this is finally relevant again.

Jade's unbound subconscious is fucking scary, I love it.
Oh my god. Roxy is going to make an apple for Dave.

Also it could be more generic by being colorless (or gray) and amorphous in shape.

When did Dirk get called the most powerful?

I can't recall if he was specifically called most powerful, but it's the kind of thing you assume when someone is assigned Yaldabaoth (explained to be for ultra badass players only) and his title means "Destroyer of Souls".

So stealing non-existence to make something from nothing. Man you can do a lot if you get creative with your role and aspect. It's got the part of my brain that likes to ponder SBURB and it's mechanics going. It's great to have Homestuck back.

It can't be healthy to acquire much nonexistence, though.

Perhaps you can get rid of nonexistence by reverse stealing something that exist's nonexistence?

There's something about Jade's "Mind Control".

It does not seem to be true mind control. It seems closer to influence, not direct puppetry. Jade makes her own decisions, but is influenced seemingly in a way like schizophrenia. Maybe along with a suppression of some things?

It's almost symbolic of )(IC's relationship with Lord English.

It just seems strange.

Some games you can never lose, but we all stop eventually, causing a 'death' to those game's 'worlds'. Dwarf Fortress gives us a definite end, knowing that we will leave that world eventually, and move on to more.

I think it's because it's not full mind control. It's only the dog part of her that's being controlled, and she's not 100% dog, just has some dog instincts.

She is being mind controlled via a combination of Vriska's and Tavros's powers. The most Vriska could do is set humans to sleep, in a situation that should not of worked under any logical sway. In the same session we do not know the extent of her powers on humans, we can assume partial influence otherwise )(IC would have little to no reason to use her powers. Tavros's powers allowed him to 'commune' with animals. Judging from his encounter with Bec., he reasons with the minds of animals, not directly controlling them.

The combination of these, plus her hybrid nature, is what allowed )(IC to control her. This most likely means she is being 'reasoned' with, along with a bit of mental suppression.

I sort of answered my own question there.

Wait....I asked a question?

E: Ninja'd because I ate a döner while typing

Add in her sleep/dreamer motive and Serket powers and you can be pretty sure that she is dreamwalking.

She has probbly a "wake"self in the bubbles Dirk or Jack will interact with soon.

I figured she used Vriska's powers to force Jade's human half to sleep, leaving the dog half in control.  Then controlled the dog half.

I'm pretty sure Tavros can control animals, he just prefers to be their friend (tHERE IS, A DIFFERENCE,):

AT: bUT, tHERE ARE IMPS AROUND,
AT: aND i'LL BE SORT OF DEFENSELESS,
AT: lYING DOWN ON STAIRS,

AG: Siiiiiiiigh.
AG: You did not just use that excuse. We 8oth know you can commune with these things.
AG: Hey! Why don't you psychically command them to carry you up????????
AG: Oh my god that is a gr8 idea. Once again, leave it to Vriska to come up with the cre8tive solutions.

AT: i WOULDN'T REALLY,
AT: WANT TO MAKE THEM DO THAT,
AT: i JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND, wHY,
AT: wE CAN'T DO THIS THE EASY WAY,

He also had Terezi's Lusus convince her to walk into the sunlight... Even if it knew Terezi would benefit in the end, I doubt Tavros (under Vriska's control) would have been able to convince it with words alone.

Edit: I guess it's still possible that he can only make persuasive suggestions.  If so, maybe Jade's dog-half (which seems to be half Beq and half dream-jade) is actually cooperating for a reason.

Obviously it means Becquerel is actually the main villain, and he's being "convinced" the same way an unrepentant murderer would be "convinced" if his jailer was put to sleep.

I'm not sure how to word it, but it could be something like .... poor judgement? Being out of it?

You do something that at the time seems good or logical, but later on realize it isn't?

Sort of like being half asleepWAIT.

Okay, maybe not.

Maybe some mental blackmail. Jade seemed pretty eager to not discuss why she was working for the Batterwitch.

I should also mention, I hope I'm not the only one who was concerned when I saw this:
