Example, A. The Kernal sprite splitting when John enters the game.
But that was explained... One goes to Prospit and the other to Derse in order to provide data on how the populas should be augmented.
Yes, but we never see it again. We don't see any of that sequence again.

Does it need to be shown again?

No, but it's just weird.

Actually, that one's a good example because it's a sequence that doesn't work anywhere else.  The kernel splits and one part goes up while the other goes down - Derse isn't "below" John's house, it's another planet.  So it's a sequence that only makes sense on John's world with his house sitting above some clouds, suggesting Hussie hadn't entirely settled the cosmology yet.

I still find it interesting that I've only found one real plot hole in the entire narrative, and nobody else ever seemed to get it.  Maybe I missed something, but I don't think so.

Is it the arrow at the start that moves cakes? What the fuck even happened to that arrow? Where did it come from? Where did it go?
Every other fourth wall breaking element has been dragged kicking and screaming back into canon.

What happened to the Server player being able to grab things, and put them into an inventory?

It's Karkat saying horseshit like that's its Alternian name, isn't it?

No, wait, it's how Hussie rescued Spades Slick, isn't it?

No, wait, it's how Spades Slick knew to travel to a timeline where Crowbar was alive to get his Crowbar, isn't it?

No, wait, it's how Dirk knew how to do all that shit in the Unite Synchronize flash, isn't it?

No, wait, it's how Vriska didn't know about troll romance when Karkat talked about it for the first time, isn't it?

No, wait, it's where Grandpa Harley's battleship came from or where it went, isn't it?

No, wait, it's... uhhh, I've run out for now, but that should provide a good start.

I chalk up all of those things to stuff that could be explained, and we just didn't see it.  I'd like to get some answers on them, but nothing precludes those answers existing.

All the way back in the Alterniabound flash (Karkat: Wake Up): in Vriska's room we see a pile of booncash, then the pile is gone because she gave it to John to buy all his fraymotifs with (remember those? yeah me neither).  The problem is, we saw John go to a shop in a village and didn't have that money, then he got killed and woke up on the Battlefield.  He and Vriska had like two more conversations with no cash transfer, and he never visited a shop again.  There is no point in time those actions Hussie set up for the future could have happened.

I dunno, always seemed like a weird oversight to me except that he obviously regretted having to think up referential shit for the fraymotifs anyway.  And then nobody but me ever seemed to notice.

That's still a thing, they just never did it again because it doesn't really have any use.
I mean really, why would you ever need that feature?

It was used a few times in act 5 act 1 to show off Kanaya's proficiency with moving things around in an unfamiliar interface using a mouse for 3-dimension space

which itself has yet to come up again

Soooooo....
The Trolls' Battlefield was sunny like the Humans right?
And atleast some of them had to of been on it at some point, right?
Isn't the sun super deadly or something to Trolls?

The Alternian sun, specifically, is deadly to them. This is explicit.

Although the Green Sun (Fuck you. Not going to find that damn animation.) has been shown to be uncomfortable.

Recycle for grist? I mean, the Trolls and Original humans wouldn't have much use for that with all the epic loot, but maybe the alpha kids recycled old crusty bones and such.

She's immortal. He's blind.

Also, Terezi went out in the sun; she was only blinded. Kanaya enjoyed the sun.
