Hell, Kanaya clearly had lime eyes awhile ago.

I don't remember this. And her blood is jade green, not lime. Lime is way too bright.

As trolls age the blood leaks into their eyes and makes them the color of their blood.

As they age it's the iris that turns the color of the blood, not the sclera which is always orange IIRC. The average panel doesn't show enough detail to show the iris, so they could be green, or perhaps Kanaya still isn't old enough for the iris color change to happen yet. Either way, I see no troll lore violations.

Well, I decided to check about the eye turning the color of their blood thing. This page with the Disciple has her with reddish orange sclera and green irises. And of Mindfang with only her sclera showing. Looks like the iris changes color, the sclera stays orange.

That just looks bright yellow to me, and it's because of her rainbow drinker glow.

Let's not forget that the horns are also supposed to be a orange-yellow gradient, but are solid color in most panels.  Not to mention they frequently change size and orientation.  Why?  Because fucking consistency, that's why.

Of course, it will turn out that Can Town is an accurate representation of Paradox Space drawn from WV's prophetic visions or something, and it being accurately recorded will A ) come in handy when the existing maps are destroyed or B ) be used by Caliborn at some point, the map having been recorded in the book with Karkat and Dave's shipping grid/boner graph that Calliope later/earlier peruses.

What if Can Town was real all along in the sense that WV has a hidden Imagometer or Dereplenishing Torch of Interior Freedom or fo'-real-Gauge, to the effect that as soon as he hits the Limit Break during the Last Stand the town with its quirky, heavily armed citizens comes to live in a pocket of the multiverse? And sends reinforcements? Would that be just stupid enough to work?
