How would that be a plus? At least with Spanish I can understand what's being said. With French, you have to be fluent in grumblese and i'm-puking-ese as well.

Because it's inneficient and not-well-thought-out. Based on that, it's very dwarven.

The blood is heritage, and family, and camaraderie, what you share, the heart is your own.

now I'm confused because we're suddenly agreeing...

Man, a lot of the trolls are terrible. As in terrible people.
Karkat, Terezi, Vriska, Gamzee, Eridan.
Your mileage may vary on Aradia and Equis.

Well yeah. That's kind of their thing.

Yeah, but most of them are entertaining and I forget about how terrible they are...

Terezi murders John (Alternate timeline but plan would have worked if future dave didn't come back and stop him)
and Karkat is a terrible person to talk to and be around. Seriously, Jade pretty much has a fit whenever he talks to her.

I see you've completely missed all of their character development :V

Terezi wasn't planning to kill John. She could see ahead in his timeline; she knew he wouldn't die. Davesprite actually had to tell her that John actually did it in an alternate timeline, and that alternate timeline--made by a mental decision of John's--was necessary for the alpha timeline. She is the Seer of Mind. She knew he wouldn't do it. She kind of didn't expect him to actually die.

If you'll notice, she actually cried when she saw that she killed a doomed dave.

Karkat himself... did you read the last update? He's an incredibly accepting, tolerant guy. He's the exact opposite of Kankri--a truly good personality behind a crusty exterior of chair tantrums, versus Kankri's horrible personality behind a thin brass exterior of social justice.

Karkat is unpleasant at first, to be sure, but once you get to know him and wipe the excrement away, you realize that he is solid gold.

So he gets a pass from me.

I still don't like Terezi personally, I just don't find her terribly interesting or likable.

Edit: You know, it's important to think about why it is that Karkat is so outwardly hostile. It's a practiced behavior that he got so used to performing that he now does it naturally. Karkat is a mutant, and in troll society, that means he is essentially dead meat. Luckily, it's not an obvious mutation, since he has to bleed in order to have his cover blown. But the slightest slip up could result in him being put to the chopping block.

So he pushes people away, by being an asshole. He does what he can to keep them from wanting to know and meet him. His own urges to have friends and actually interact with others keep him from completely shutting them out, but there you go.

At least we can all agree that Cronus is just the worst. The absolute worst.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.
