Man, differently aged mind/body is fucked up even before you get to the sexual stuff.
Some of these trolls have been 16(or how old they are) for millenia. I am pretty sure if I was to live through such a lenght of time I would grow into some apalling unearthly... horror... if not in body, so in mind. There are so many processes, changes and stories running in, through and out of my head all the time that I don't think I want to see what grows in this stew if it is left alone for a few hundred years, with no finale whatsoever in sight. No sir, no immortality for me, not in this world and not in any world like the our.
Pathos aside.
I don't like Aranea at all. This dislike is admittedly a little irrational. Maybe because she was the first herald of the lame Dancestors(who had some great satiric moments, yes), because she amounts to an exposition automaton(this is lampshaded, parodied and discussed in-story with some charme), the vagueness but exactness of her sources(is the light aspect that OP that she can double as Seer or can you watch other universes from the 'bubbles except your alt!selfs' [and how and why does nobody else make use of that] or did she interview thousands of dead beta visioneers to extract that info or are there magic tomes of wisdom lying atound and why doesn't she know/admit that Gamzee is behind everything also God this parenthesis is growing to ridicolous lenghts and rapidly turning into stream of consciousness eggs eggs butterbrot) or I might see too much of myself in that two-dimensional character. I am basically a walking, drooling, mildly unreliable encyclopedia myself. Ask my friends.
Anyway, she turned out to be quite the capable management minion after all. I am sure she would excel at leading a penal legion or a secret police or an annihilation camp if you give her the slightest excuse to rationalize her deeds to be for he greater good.
Damn it, I forgot to turn of the pathos again.
