Whistles is pretty great too, at least the first two chapters.

The third one... feels like the comic lost any will to actually impress.

Possibly a reference to the ide/theory that female trolls tend to be stronger than the males.  Partially based on Karkat's "Stop playing games for for girls" remark when Tavros gets crippled in the most dangerous game.

Or maybe the fact that Nepeta is a successful hunter of Alternian wildlife, which implies she has much more physical power than she lets on.  She could just be incredibly skilled, but she does manage to tacklehug Equius to the ground.

She lets on a damn lot of physical power. This idea that she's any sort of frail at all is kinda stupid.
