Like the borg, pod-people, zombies or anything that spreads from person to person and changes who you were.

I wonder what the hangover from trickster mode is like.

They might get withdrawal symptoms.

I for one vote against trickster mode. Not as if I had any say, but if I have to see Dirk saving everybody's collective sugary gluteus maximus again I might develop just the slightest eyeroll.

So, meanwhile, in an Altern(ia)ate timeline, Equius is sitting is a corner somewhere, before all the deathiness, cowering/holding Trickster!Nepeta in a cage and trying to find a cure with his little knowledge.

Trickster mode isn't some horrible corruption that everyone has to resist. It's a power up. Nobody's immune to the gold star in Mario.
