Interesting note: if Caliborn names himself Lord English after Jake, who got the name from his grandmother, who named herself after Lord English to piss off Condy, the name itself becomes a stable time loop.  Very traditional for Homestuck.

You could say that Jake English is named after Jake English.
Or Lord English is named after Lord English.

Just thinking... AR is basically Dirk, somewhat, and Dirk is basically Bro, somewhat, so AR is pretty much Bro, kind of. And AR is afraid to die.
Does this mean we should be even more touched by Bros attempt to beat an unbeatable boss?

I'd say no. Bro was not only more mature, but probably more stable from living in a world filled with actual people.

Are you sure? Did we ever actually see any of these actual people that you speak of? As for more mature, a blender full of smuppet says otherwise.

While I won't go so far as to say Bro was likely an unpopular individual, I will say that he must have either been a very useful friend or even more charismatic than Dave, to convince people to hang around the irony and animes-obsessed, rapping fetishistic puppeteer ventriloquist.

This being Homestuck, I'm not sure whether that's post-scratch Rose or Vriska with a wig.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

So Lil Cal won't be the Post-climatic endfinal deathbonus superfinal endboss.

It would be to obvious.

I have to say, Caliborn has now become far and away my favorite antagonist.
I don't know if Hussie can top himself here.
