The trick is to look at the date of the update before you call it; then you would notice that the update you're calling happened yesterday.

And now we learn why LE killed Hussie. It's because he's sick of Hussie narrating his thoughts to him. And now he's having an actual conversation with the narrator. One of the characters is having a conversation with the narrator, is aware of the narration, and will kill him in the future. This comic never stops getting more and more meta.

The lack of collapsible dialogue is jarring.

Kinda makes sense. This isn't just dialogue, this is also narration, and that is never collapsible.
