Looking at John's rant about Con Air, I'm not sure if this is supposed to be him maturing, or if being trapped on a ship with only Jade, Nannasprite, Jaspersprite, Davesprite and a bunch of stupid consorts and underlings for company has only driven him crazy. It could be both. And, damn, JadexDavesprite made canon then sunk in the exact same sentence. That's gotta be a record.

In the process (which was so many more pages than I expected) I totally forgot my point.  I blame this shitty wine.  I'm sure it somehow explains why John spells the name "Dave Sprite" and considers the guy to just be another Dave.  Whereas Jade seems to consider Davesprite as a completely different person from Dave.

I wonder why they actually broke up... since they're barely teenagers, it might be something as silly as Jade only liking him for his anthroness.  And that not being cool with the Davester.
