Man these trolls are awesome, Homestuck just keeps getting better the more that get involved!
Yeah agreed.

^^^^

I get that more characters to keep track of is a bitch to some, but we already vaguely knew (or knew of) many trolls prior to this arc. And Hussie really works on characterizing each of them, both emotionally and visually, so I find it pretty easy to keep track of them all. And frankly they are just the best. I want Dave and AT and Sollux and Gamzee to go on their own awesome journey and have lots of wacky adventures and save time and Bro and Spades Slick and WV can come too.

What fun!

Again, Sollux can just suck it. He has everything that made Jade annoying but none of the coolness of Dave, because what makes him cool is what made Jade annoying. Granted he is actually doing something, but none of the anything he does impresses me. Physic powers, oh yawn. When somebody is just handed that it isn't terribly impressive. And admired by all his friends without anything to really show for it other than his word on the subject, and his ability to see the future while having double sight...

When Dave did cool things it was because they were unexpected form some kid. There was also something behind what he did, a reason for it. His coolness was shown to us through his actions and words. Sollux is just telling us that he is cool in a half-dozen pages that don't really allow me to connect to him and really care.

Eh, I don't really care about the powers. It was the glasses pull that got me to like him.

I will admit it was cool and did make me like him at first, but the following pages killed it for me.

Hm.. I'm finding the more I think about it, the more I agree with you. Well, I'll knock him from my current favourite characters, but I'm still holding out for more good humour from him.

What's the deal? Andrew is a sucker for symmetry. Surely you've noticed.

Tavros is pretty cool. He has what I liked about Jade, her happy care-free nature, but none of the other crap, like seeing into the future and owning a dreambot.

I assumed those were just the standards of the two armies. Though the black one is a bit too complex for that...

Andrew, like any good spriter, likes reusing stuff. I wouldn't worry about the similarity between those two dummies too much.

I'm not going to insist it's vitally important, but I think AH did it for a reason other than just to reuse sprites. Jack could be right though, and he's just being a symmetry fetishist again. Or he has no plan and is going to wait for the MSPA forums to come up with a crazy theory.

There are lots of coincidences until Andrew makes them not coincidences.
