OK, everybody expected the "2001: Space Odyssey" thing. Shades got creepy, but not much creepier then, say, Bro.

Speaking of the older Strider... well, he pulled some sweet stunts, extreme courage and absolute devotion to his friends but... I still can't warm up to him. It's certainly not that he's gay(or whatever he identifies himself as) but... he keeps his cool too well, I think.

I really like that the Alpha-kids are together now. It should decrease the number of narration arcs for the next subact. The story is slowed down enough at it is.

Intermission incoming: We will probably see the meteor and the ship again. Probably a time skip, or Aranea's Council first?
Maybe some Intermission weirdness: Jack again, or even uu

 

But no God Tiers unfortunately.

They still have 3 sprites...until Gamzee gets them.

There were a lot of fireflies on John's planet. But this is homestuck we are talking about, Serenity IS going to be in one of these lanterns.

Wow, that was one hell of a batch of updates. Amazing and amazingly mindfuck inducing at the same time. Definitely worth the wait. And Dirk definitely proved that he is the most badass of the alpha kids. He just smoothly and casually saved everyone's asses, all without breaking his cool. Roxy is still my favorite alpha kid, but Dirk is starting to catch up to her in my book.

I completely cracked up at the Jakesmooch. The build up... that incredibly masculine cavalcade of explosions and robots and rocketboard grinding and high-fives and soaring dragons and a volcanic eruption and all that, culminated in the most bromantic smooch I have ever witnessed Their love... it is so. Very. Manly.

Basically, my head was full of this forever.

Probably the latter. Though making someone carry around his head would be kinda horrible funny.
