Bow ties are cool!

OK, so... I have no clue what just happened to Awake!Dirk. Dream!Dirk is such a badass that three tons of fresh building to the back of his skull ain't no thang.

And Roxy just throws the whole damn plot for a loop, that jerk.

This being Homestuck, I'm not sure whether that's post-scratch Rose or Vriska with a wig.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
HUSSIE YOU BASTARD.
(credit goes to Michael Firman, who is drawing his peeps)

Anyway, I think Jane dying is going to become even more of a thing than John dying is.

I'm guessing his dreamself got knocked out so hard that it went and knocked him out too.

What uu is talking about at the time suggests it might have something to do with Lil' Cal. But I have no idea what.

So, really, I have no idea what happened to him either.

IDE/THEORY: Hussie hasn't linked it on the "latest pages" because TRUE BELIEVERS like us will get it anyway, and since we're half the fandom (the UU half), it'll spread the bandwidth hit out.
(Total BS I know, this is normal)

Random Theory: Lil' Cal is Calliope, somehow transported and hexed by uu into Lil' Cal's doll body. Then uu became the Lord English.

That makes about as much sense as "the Planet Men from Mars are secretly Lord English, and were already there" theory.

Random Theory 2: uu's fate hasn't been decided yet. In short, Hussie will choose to make uu a red herring or the main antagonist depending on our reactions.

Random Theory 3: I'm just making stuff up.

Ssriously though, I need to reread the whole thing again. I don't understand what's going on anymore.

Dirk/bro was never a super enduring guy. He was just insanely fast. Seems if you catch him when he's distracted stuff can happen.

And despite the ability to control both his dreamself and realself at once, he seems to only have one consciousness. Knock him out while he's in his dreamself and he's knocked out.

I would bet money Andrew has edited things retroactively, except I can't prove anything because it was edited retroactively.

That seems to be the case. An extreme version of a fragile speedster/glass cannon.

Also, how many times has Jake been knocked out yet?

Jake keeps getting knocked out, Jane keeps dying.
This is all very confusing!

Sweet crap my rss-feed just exploded!
That's Dragon-lusi for you.  One glare and !!BOOM!!
Can we mod that in DF with the 'new' interaction system?
An explodey-syndrome, caused by an ability?
Well, Putnam is hopefully going to do it anyway :D

Roxy is dead too, except if uu's fantasy was a little too vivid. her dreamself should be ok though, exactly as Aradia's.
Jane will probably revive. I just hope her Dad doesn't do anything stupid...

Hm. It was established, that a sleeping player awakes as his dreamself, except if his dreamself is unawakened or DEAD.
It seems that Dirk has broken that rule harder than we thought: His ichs are synchronised, they sleep and wake at the same time.
Is he in the bubbles now? Or does he just have ACTG-Nightmares?

I'm personally betting it's Lord. He's the Lord of Time... a Time-Lord, if you will.
Off-topic: Is Doctor Who worth a closer look? If yes, where should I even start?

I'd recommend first episode of the reboot, honestly.

And it's very very worth looking into, but its much better if you have someone to watch it with.

But Roxy has died before she even entered, and the only precedence we have for that is Aradia (Sollux died pretty much the moment he arrived). So, uh, Ghostmom?

We don't KNOW Roxy is dead though, we just assume.
