So, they're forced through a series of trials that weed out the weak, gain the protection of a monsterous Guardian, and then are trained at architecture from a young age.

Is it just me, or does Troll Culture seem to be preparing them to play SBURB? It sets them up with a Zodiac-Themed Monster to prototype their sprite with, and encourages them build their own home in their "lawnring" to familiarize themselves with how to construct a home that can reach the gates.
I suspect it's the other way around. The game they are going to be playing (presumably Sburb) was based on something one of them(I can't remember which) found, but then modified. I think they found some reality-warping tech and then built a game out of it that they would all be good at... and then things go Horribly Wrong.

But then they probably have no real recognition of "love" either.
No wonder they still have Romcoms!

He is a pretty cool guy. AC is... terrifying, though.

So. The catgirl troll is less like a small child with a pair of fake ears, and more like a priestess of some ancient bloodthirsty werewolf cult? Best. Species. Ever.

Also, poor TA. :(

Now it seems we have the davetroll. and psionic. Which would be awesome in Dave.

I suspect you've never tried doing many illegal things yet in your game. The second the CCS knows you're "active", they'll come down on you like the hammer of God.

I think that Trolls are pairings of Homestuck Kids.

For example, TA is pairing of Dave (coolness) and Jade (psychic pawarz).

That would make Terezi a mix of Rose (intelligence) and Dave (coolness).

Or something.

But that makes 16 trolls, should you ignore anatomy, and 8 if you don't.

You are mistaken. There are only six unique pairings of four people.

To everyone saying that trolls are combinations or equivalents of kid personalities, here's a snippet from Hussie's formspring:

Quote
Q:Is each of the trolls' personalities a combination of two different personalities of the four main characters mixed? IE; each of the main characters' personalities' can mix with three others, four times that three. Lots of beer inspired this question.

A: No. Some of the trolls share certain personality traits with some of the kids. But there's no formula for it. And it's certainly not as simple as "She's the troll-Jade!" and such. That's not how I view it, or how I planned it.

Very good, you can preform basic math! ...So how is the average of 16 and 8 relevant? That's just a bit random.
