You are a fickle man, and your grim fate shall be just.

I don't care how funny it was yesterday this morning, or how funny it is now.

I'm still mad.

By the way, you wouldn't fucking believe how much fanart people can crank out in 20 or so hours.  Well, you wouldn't if you didn't already read Homestuck.

I hope Tavrisprite isn't really dead. Maybe they'll work their problems out and form a functioning sprite. And by that, I mean Vriska can go advent8re somewhere else while Tavsprite does awesome things.

What caused that explosion anyhow? Did s/he just go "MY MIND IS FULL OF FUCK!" and her head asploded through the sheer retardedness of the situation?

At a certain point, I don't even care what Hussie does. As long as it's not absolutely positively goddamned horrible beyond belief, I'm just along for the ride. I won't classify this as absolutely positively goddamned horrible beyond belief. Quite frankly, I don't much care about any of the trolls. Except for Nepeta. She was okay, but she's dead now (As are many other trolls that I don't really care about).

My theory is that Dirk is going to end up prototyping his own adult corpse. Since him getting stabbed on LOWAS never stopped being a thing that happened, and now LOWAS is only a few years away.

RottingBroSprite. There is absolutely no way that could go wrong.

No.

I'm starting to wonder if that counts as adequate foreshadowing at this point, though. There are so many things unexplained and this came right out of the blue. I have the feeling we're gonna have to wait a bit before we get any answers, too.

Cascade shows the same image, but zoomed out.  Cal is looking at it too.

Oh Yeah sure, use evidence to prove me wrong.  You know who else does that?  Lawyers.  Do you wanna be like lawyers? I'm gonna keep on pretending that she only does it to letters that I think she does it too.  Also, a lot of those quotes support my idea, but I suppose you were just being fair by including them with the ones I can't accept.

...I really hope you're joking/being sarcastic or something

Man, sometimes even I can't tell if I'm joking or being sarcastic or just being really passive-aggressive.  But this was a joke.  Or, maybe not a joke, but I wasn't completely serious about straight up ignoring objective evidence.  Not that I couldn't be serious about that.  I don't remember head-canon needing to be based on objective facts evident in the comic.  I also don't remember ever using head-canon to describe my beliefs about this comic though, so screw you for making me say that(also a joke, but not).

Point is, you don't need to take me seriously.

Oh, if you were annoyed about the lawyer thing instead, it's because lawyers are stereotypically displayed as evil, get it?  The joke is that on one level, I'm saying that using evidence is evil and on another, more obvious level, I'm saying that as part of their jobs, lawyers prove things, and that proving things is similar to being a lawyer.  It's also similar to being a detective, but nobody thinks detectives are evil.

As for the latest update... cool.  Are we gonna get some TavrosxVriska stuff(even implied?) now that it's been established that they both hate each other so much?  And can the balloon thing be damaged by the explosion?  And is Jane's kernelsprite just straight-up gone forever now?  All things which I may or may not care about seeing answered.

Yeah, I thought that it was one of those "big reveal" things. With Cal serving as such a huge catalyst for awful time loop shenanigans, it made sense once revealed (moreso than Gamzee ever did although recent events may make this ambiguous again).

Also, I guess my theory on alchemizing kernelsprites will never be addressed. Curses. It was such a good one, too, once I realized that Casey served as proof of concept for captchaloguing creatures.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

3 dirks at once. That would be... Interesting.

Okay, I feel better now that Tavrisprite is cleared up. Wonder if this is something innate/predestined for Void sessions too... their sprites are fated to be so incompatible they cease to be.

Did Hussie just chicken out on us?

Am I even using that phrase right?

Does Gamzee destroy the Sprites deliberately so there are no options for revival?

Was it all a sophisticated plot to get rid of the bodies? :P

or, maybe more accurately, the Alpha session's Kernel Sprites. Those would've presumably rotted on their own if not preserved.

Now if only he'd explain how the hell it happened.

Well you can't explain these things the exact moment it happens, you have to wait for that information later. Time works linearly dude. I'll consider calling Gamzee the most important character in Homestuck enough foreshadowing for him to do something weird and fucked up that we don't quite understand.

I'm a little more interested in how Gamzee apparently kept a couple of corpses fresh for at least three years.  That's Jane's fridge he's pulling them out of.

Oh, that's easy. He's got some time tables right there. He just went back and got them from himself while they were still relatively fresh.
Even easier. The meteor kids said they could not find him. He used the timetables when he grabbed the bodies to travel forwards three years. Vriskas corpse is as fresh as when the bucket hit Karkat in the face.
One big problem with that, The timetables allow you to travel through TIME, not space. The meteor was moving in one direction, fairly quickly, the entire time.

I think it might be relative to your surroundings though - didn't the planets actually orbit skaia? That would make time travel on them nearly impossible.

So are we seeing alive Vriska and Tavros or deadbubble Vriska and Tavros? Because I'd imagine we're seeing alive Vriska at least since dead Vriska is with dead timeline John.

Keeping track of which incarnation of who is dead or alive is like keeping track of minus signs in the most complicated algebra equation in the world.
