EDIT: With Vol. 5, I'm sure they were planning on a real, honest-to-God album for a long time but doesn't this seem like the perfect way for Hussie to say 'fuck you' to the dude that pulled out?
I'm sure that wasn't the intention. It's funny none-the-less.
Yeah, it's hilarious! This guy pulls out of the project, and Hussie is all "Huh. Okay. Well, I guess I have no choice but to release another album immediately and make it like twice as long as the other albums combined."
Too bad about Mutiny, though. Good thing I bought it back when it was buyable. And ripped from the flash file before then.
And seriously, are people complaining about Trollian sending messages throught time? Sweet Troll Jegus, didn't grimAuxiliatrix explain this? The trolls aren't sending messages into the past, or the future. The Medium timeline is completely independent of the Earth timeline. And the timelines of other Medium instances. The trolls are in the Veil, and they can send messages to other worlds, and the passage of time in these other worlds is completely insignificant to the trolls. Okay, now that I think about it, I'm not sure yet whether Davesprite sends messages with Skaian technology or sprite magic. Not that there's much of a difference, though, seeing that kernelsprites ARE Skaian technology. And Skaian technology is sophisticated enough to be indistinguishable from magic.
Speaking of time loops, in addition to Troll society grooming its young to be good at architecture, a programming language based on nothing but infinite loops sounds like a great way to teach yourself about those.
IDE/THEORY: The Trolls' predecessor species, or the agents from their game instance, had gained access to Rose's walkthrough server. They engineered their society to be resistant to it. Sburb retaliated by grabbing more kids, resulting in more prototypings, resulting in a harder game.
