I have a weird feeling that somehow all of the post scratch characters are in some way shape or form the pre scratch characters guardians, like the order was reversed or something with the pre characters becoming the guardians instead.  Or one more generation of people happened before the whole game thing started. Or something.

I can't wait for the reveal on this one.
