Since there's likely to never be an actually appropriate time for it, I got dragged back to the Homestuck VoiceActing Archive (aka "Tindeck.com") and found something worth sharing.  I don't know if anything could ever top the raw majesty of "Vriska performs Bad Romance", but a Disney-esque showtune for the Condesce's villain song is hard to overlook.

There's levels of irony here you don't even understand.

I wasn't even aware that particular villain was a /Disney/ villain, hah.

One of my favorite movie songs, though, so no complaints.

I should note that both those songs have voices that I feel fit them very well.

Edit: It ISN'T a Disney Villain - its Touchstone Pictures. Disney just produced the recent 3D version.

I'm genuinely surprised I didn't recognize it, which does take some of the air out of the song, since I thought it was original.  Then again, I'm not a goth so I probably haven't seen Nightmare since I was nine years old.  Oogie Boogie was cool though.

Personally, I think the Condesce deserves a more "mature" voice, but there's not a whole lot of space between that performance and Cruella deVille, so it still fits fine.  After we got to see Beta-Condi in her punk phase, I have this picture of her in my head as still being a goofy little twat as the empress of the universe.
