I rewatched it. Still don't know what to think. Roxy/Dirk having been in the future the whole time makes sense though.

Ever since the trolls introduction, I have become increasingly confused.
And when things start making sense,
something unexpected happens and I get more questions than answers.

I'm starting to lose track of these time shenanigans. Dirk and Roxy are separated from Jane and Jake by several years? That doesn't even begin to make sense! Their dream selves are synced up! How are they even talking to each other!? And now Andrew is smugly bragging about it on his blog, talking about all the hints that pointed to this. And there was no entry item, no prototyping, and no meteors. How did all those exiles even get exiled? ._.

-Time is not necessarily consistent between the Incipisphere and <universe>.
-How could the trolls talk to the humans in a completely different session/universe, jumping through time from one conversation to the next?

Their dream selves are synced up!
Duhhhh. The medium exists outside conventional timespace.

As opposed to inter-universial communication?

There was no entry typing, no prototyping and no meteors, because the Condesce sent ships instead. Essentially, she exiled EVERYONE, and then used them for her army, without destroying the planet she was going to conquer.

How are the dreamers synced up, exactly? The future dreamers (Dirk and Roxy on Derse), never directly interacted with the past dreamers (Jane and Jake on Prospit), unless I've forgotten something, which is not outside the realm of possibility as we all know.

I'm continually astonished by people raising problems with the current time schenanegans going on. Hasn't everything involving Dave, Dream Bubbles and the Furthest Ring shown that time, causality and trans-existance communications are not a problem?

Next thing you know people are gonna be outraged that their session doesn't have Ectobiology, because it was handled in the original kids's session.

...Travel between Derse and Prospit takes a long time and that's why Derse received news of the assassinations so late?

No, it's probably just that time relative to the Universe that Earth is in doesn't mean shit to the Medium's timestream.

Hint: The Reckoning takes ≈24 hours in Skaia time, but drops meteors on the players' home planet throughout its history.

I caught up like maybe a week ago (took two days, and I hadn't read anything since Jand was first introduced) and thought I understood stuff until the flash came along. Figures; those things are always confusing, even though I read the last two pages of this thread.

Welcome back Apples. This flash was a doozy to a lot of people, so hopefully we can get eachother up to stuff.

When hussie said Crocker Corp was evil, he meant Crocker Corp was evil and a major plot element- that hadn't come into play.

It seems a bit early, but a corporation really has to be there the whole time.

Also, apple-crocker-windows-?

Corporate timelines anybody?
