Thats during Act 5 Scene 2, with the command ">[S] Past Karkat: Wake Up". Its a fairly long kind of "Mini-game" in the style of Earthbound. I haven't completely finished it yet, but I plan to when I reach it in my second reading.

'parently not, but that mistake's gonna happen so often it's not worth correcting people every time they make it.

Eridan being the Prince of Hope makes so much sense now.

At first I saw it as Grimdark, and I was like:

But then I saw it:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

I wish I could've used Homestuck Pictures for that, but I'm too lazy.

So yeah, I got prince wrong entirely. Me and my friends assumed Prince was the active version of the passive Heir.

Heir can't be passive; John does the windy thing. The fact that he can do the windy thing, which blows shit around, makes it an active effect.

It also explains why Equius wasn't causing any blackouts in Hivebent wheras Roxy is causing all sorts of seeing problems: he has an active title rather than a passive one.
