I don't think it's quite confirmed that Dirk is gay. The most confirmation we have is form his RoBro, and he could very well just be struggling with the fact that he can never advance out of the mindset of a 13 yr-old just entering puberty.

That, or he's trying to psychologically manipulate Roxy for whatever purpose.

Hey dermonster, I was reading through Heartstuck and noticed you being a pervert, but I found that for whatever reason my reply box is grayed out and I can't use it on the MSPA Forums. Any ideas to fix that?

This being Homestuck, I'm not sure whether that's post-scratch Rose or Vriska with a wig.

But that was Jake's journal that she appearified.
Jake fills a journal like a normal person, Roxy covers her walls like a drunken fool

Has anyone else been wondering what makes the difference between a Guardian and Player?  Do you guys think it's just the first 4 who arrive 'first'?

I'll go ahead and assume it's whichever one is more awesome. And older.

It really makes you wonder, does Hussie just pull out random shit at random times and is really good at referencing back to it and making a closed loop?
Or has he planned out all of Homestuck already? Every last cunning detail? All into a binder so large it could crush a cat?

Supposedly, it started out as the first one, then turned into the second one.  He claims he's had the rest of the story at least roughly written since sometime after Hivebent.  He has the luxury of slipping back into the random mode even more now, since there's so much crap built up over time for him to reference again.

Of course, the GCAT would have been an easy switch at any time.  Even he acknowledges that there's a lot of these "references" that are really just serendipitous coincidences that he can seize on, which he has gotten really good at (and always was pretty good at).

Looks like Dirk is gonna make a deep impact on the story
